Course Description:

Our Private Pilot Training course offers flexible ground and flight instruction that you can complete at your own pace—getting you closer to flying your own airplane in no time. You’ll train with top-tier instructors using high-quality aircraft with advanced glass cockpits. No prior flight experience needed.

What You Need to Begin:

To start your training, you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Before your first flight, you’ll need to pass a medical exam and receive a medical certificate from an FAA-approved Aviation Medical Examiner. You’ll also need to provide proof of U.S. citizenship or obtain TSA clearance, along with a student pilot certificate.

 Eligibility:

  • Be at least 17 years old (16 to solo).
  • Be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
  • Hold at least a third-class FAA medical certificate.

Training Requirements:

  • Complete ground school training covering regulations, weather, navigation, and aircraft systems.
  • Pass the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge (written) Exam.
  • Accumulate a minimum of 40 flight hours (including at least 20 hours of flight instruction and 10 hours of solo flight).
  • Log specific flight experience, including cross-country flights, night flying, and maneuvers.
  • Successfully complete a practical test (checkride) with an FAA examiner, consisting of an oral exam and flight test.
