What You Need to Begin:
To start your training, you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Before your first flight, you’ll need to pass a medical exam and receive a medical certificate from an FAA-approved Aviation Medical Examiner. You’ll also need to provide proof of U.S. citizenship or obtain TSA clearance, as well as a private pilot certificate.
